The fall colors around Buena Vista have been outstanding this year. This was rather convenient for me since my daughter got married a couple of weeks ago and I was able to check out all the good locations while showing friends and relatives around the area. I have been out shooting since then!

The colors have held up very well for more than a week. The weather has been clear, calm, and pleasant. That is until yesterday. The leading edge of the first winter storm moved in and the winds picked up. It rained overnight, so I headed up to Aspen Ridge this morning to take advantage of the newly fallen aspen leaves covered with raindrops.
